	where a decision is made on whether the diagnostic array is likely
	to give a good fit or not. At the moment the only check that is
	done is that less than 10% of the pixels should be below the value
	indicated in the attribute BLANK. Note that thgis attribute is
	only present in recent ODFs, so in this version if BLANK is absent
	a harcoded value of 6666 is used (SOC-SPR-1340). Datasets that
	fail this test are not used to calculate the offsets.
