Module: Point Cloud To Volume ()

Description:

This module converts a set of points with associated data values into a uniform scalar field. The conversion is performed by determining for each node of the uniform grid the nearest point of the point set. The data value of that point will be taken at the grid node. The input data object must be of type Point Cloud.

Press the Apply button to start the computation.

Option menu determining which variable should be converted into a uniform scalar field.

Resolution

This port provides three text fields specifying the resolution of the resulting scalar field in x-, y-, and z-direction. The default resolution is chosen so that a sufficiently high sampling rate is obtained, provided the input points are distributed homogeneously.
