Module: Intensity Ranges Contours ()

Description:

This modules provides a 2D display of the intensity ranges of a regular scalarfield.

Connections:

Data [required]
Scalarfield holding intensity ranges information and used for adaptive intensity range partitioning.

Module [required]
Module defining the cutting plane used for 2D intensity ranges rendering.

Ports:

Parameters

The resolution value determines the resolution of the sampling raster used for computing intensity ranges display. The second input of this port determines the width of the lines in pixels.

Show limits

Toggles the display of separation between two regions.

Sampling

Enables tricubic interpolation when accessing scalar field.

Adaptive Range Partitioning

Enables adaptive intensity range partitioning where default intensity ranges are changed to match input data set features. For each point of the computed line, the HMH algorithm is applied searching for a phase separation along the line normal at the point.

Some advanced settings might need some changes for adaptive Intensity Range Partitioning to give more satisfaying results.

Search distance

How far to search for the highest gradient (in voxels).

Sampling distance

How often the data set should be sampled to find the highest gradient (in voxels).

Normal smoothing neighbor size

Number of surrounding normals used for normal smoothing.

Normal smoothing iteration count

How many times the normal smoothing should iterate on the line normals.

Options

Highest gradient search is done by sampling, and subvoxel accuracy allows for half voxel sampling distances.

Options

Takes neighborhood into consideration when sampling along the normals.

Displacement type

Constrains displacement to just the inside, just the outside, or both sides of the region along the normal.
