SoWin is released publicly under the GNU General Public License ("GPL"
for short).

A Professional Edition License can also be purchased for the SoWin
library from Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies. The benefits of this
includes first-tier support access to our developers, and the
permission to use SoWin in any product for any purpose (except
constructing a directly competing product with SoWin itself).
