GARANT COMMANDS: unfold peaks - calculate possible unfolded positions of peaks usage: unfold peaks When reading peaks from a peak list each peak has a single well defined position. However when it is not known whether this peaks is folded or not, several possible positions are possible for this peak. With this command these additional possible positions can be defined. For all peaks of the given spectrum additional positions unfolded between and times in the dimension specified by are added. Supported types of folding are RSH and TPPI. The folding type and the sweep width of the spectrum are read from the spectral parameter file, which must have been specified using the 'spectrum' command. The specification of the dimension refers to the order of dimensions in the parameter file and the peak list and not to the order defined for the spectrum type within GARANT. Negative numbers for the number of times to fold a peak position causes folding to lower ppm values, specifying positiv numbers causes folding to higher ppm values. see also: spectrum, load peaks
