Load and visualize a volume.
Right-click on this object and choose Color => Palette.
Change the palette by selecting of a new palette in the bottom left list.
Try to change the values of 1st dimension settings and see the effects on the volume display.
Try to change the palette boundaries using the following keyboard shortcuts:
CTRL key + right button click and move the mouse up and down: you change the max boundary of the palette.
CTRL key + right button click and move the mouse left and right: you change the min boundary of the palette.

If you want to create a custom palette, you can use the Gradient palette module.
Right-click on the object and choose Color => gradient palette.
Change the palette by modifying the curves of the red, green and blue component.
Save the palette image in $HOME/.anatomist/rgb. It will be available in the list of palettes the next time you run anatomist and you will be able to modify it later by choosing this palette in the list and opening again the gradient palette module.
